Buying Tips

Marigolds can be found in the produce section of some health food stores, specialty markets, and grocery stores. Look for fresh blossoms with no signs of wilting or browning.

Marigolds range in color from buttery yellow to a deep, rich orange.

Preparation, Uses, & Tips

Immerse blossoms in cool water to flush out any tiny insects, and dry thoroughly in a salad spinner. Marigold flowers make an attractive addition to salads and field greens or may be used as a garnish for desserts.

Storing

Store them in a paper towel loosely folded and placed in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
