Buying Tips

Buy English muffins in the bread or refrigerated-food section of most natural food and grocery stores. Choose the whole-grain variety whenever possible.

English muffins are available in an assortment of flavors, including sourdough, whole wheat, raisin, cinnamon, and cornmeal.

Preparation, Uses, & Tips

To produce a surface with lots of nooks and crannies, split English muffins with a fork and gently pull them apart. Serve with jam and a little butter, or layer with avocado, sliced tomato, and sprouts.

Storing

Store in a plastic bag at room temperature, and use within a week.
